Callum graduated his LLM in International Law and Sustainable Development in 2014, during which he developed a passionate interest in international development. Throughout his degree, Callum worked on a variety of social, legal and environmental development issues, with a particular focus on illegal wildlife trade and conservation in his dissertation. Previously, Callum studied Scots Law at the University of Strathclyde and has a keen understanding of both the international and domestic legal landscapes. Prior to joining LTS, Callum spent several years supporting hedge fund trading at a leading investment bank, developing comprehensive knowledge of the sustainable investment sector.
Callum spent four months volunteering for Voluntary Service Overseas in rural Bangladesh on a WASH project in 2014. During this time, he gained experience in the development of implementation strategies and drafting product plans. He also has experience in research and feedback, utilizing analytical methods to assess and report on the development sector to various key stakeholders. Outside of LTS, Callum sits on the board of trustees for the international charity First Aid Africa, providing commercial and legal support.
