Global Climate Change Alliance Communications

Key Staff:

Kirsti Thornber

This project supported the Global Climate Change Alliance Support Facility (GSF) and the Institutional Support Component (ISC) of the Intra-ACP Programme in the development, implementation and monitoring of the GCCA knowledge management and communication strategy. The approach was based on the principle that communication is a two-way process, and that the GCCA knowledge management and communication strategy should include a review of the work of the GSF, consideration of the objectives of the GSF and who the stakeholders are. LTS reviewed GCCA knowledge management and communication activities to date. LTS also:

  • led the GCCA strategy development preparation;
  • prepared, held and synthesised stakeholder interviews;
  • prepared the draft GCCA knowledge management and communication strategy;
  • prepared and led the stakeholder workshop presenting the draft GCCA knowledge management and communication strategy;
  • finalised the GCCA knowledge management and communication strategy; and
  • prepared and supported the implementation of the GCCA knowledge management and communication strategy work plan; and
  • LTS led the preparation of the GCCA knowledge management and communication strategy.

In addition, LTS provided a brief report that summarised the activities undertaken. This included details of people met and interviewed (in the format of a working diary), as well as the findings from their completed tasks.
