Training & Knowledge Transfer
A critical element of any capacity building support is training, either informal through mentoring or formal through courses and formal education. While all of our large programmes and projects entail capacity building through mentoring, we have also developed a track record of providing formal training courses in decentralised management planning to government, community and civil society participants.
Our approach to training is extremely practical and use the experience of participants to maximise their learning experience. Lectures, discussion, group work, practical exercises, field visits, role play and case studies are all used as delivery modes.
...we provide practical training courses in forest management planning using our experience working with government, civil society and communities...
Our specialist team can:

- Tailor training material to suite the learning environment and the participants.
- Deliver training courses and study tours using a variety of practical methods, and coordinate logistics as required.
- Provide advice on the technical content of training and professional development courses offered by other institutions.
- Arrange course accreditation through academic institutions.
