Evaluation of Dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane Impact Assessment Study

From 1987 1992 the UK ODA conducted a research project to improve understanding of the environmental costs of DDT and other insecticides used in ground spraying operations against tsetse fly. LTS provided a staff ecologist to work with an economist to evaluate the policy and scientific impact of the research and assess the research methodology. The evaluation highlighted lessons relevant to other projects aiming to inform policy and natural resources research projects.
