Nyachomba joined LTS in March 2012 and has over 5 years’ experience in the natural resource management, climate change adaptation and monitoring and evaluation sectors. She holds skills in facilitation of participatory rural appraisals, vulnerability assessments and socio-economic assessments. She has experience in data collection and analysis, facilitating community based approaches, database management skills, technical research and organisational capacity assessment. She has experience working in the Eastern Africa region.
With a BSc degree in Environmental Sciences, Nyachomba is currently perusing her MSc in Climate Change Adaptation at the University of Nairobi's Institute of Climate Change Adaptation (ICCA).
Nyachomba is skilled in the development and application of climate change adaptation M&E frameworks and has been heavily involved in national and sub-national climate change adaptation planning process, including involvement in the development of the Kenya National Climate Change Adaptation Plan.
Part of her role involves business development and actively participates in developing of technical proposals and bids.
