Associate QualificationsBSc Ecological Science, Resource Management, University of Edinburgh (UK) 1975 Mike has been involved in forestry-related issues in the United Kingdom and internationally for more than 25 years, and is now based in Georgia. He has a wide range of experience, including facilitation of multi-stakeholder processes to develop forest management standards and criteria and indicators for monitoring forest sector development. For the past year Mike has been working in Georgia as the LTS Team Leader of the Forest Sector Rationalisation and Institutional Development project in Georgia, where he elaborating on an institutional and financial framework for the sector, and an optimal model for organisational restructuring and privitisation of state assets. Mike is a close associate of LTS and collaborates closely in the region.
