UNDP has asked LTS to support the Malawi Government design a programme for comprehensive climate change adaptation.  The work, which is part of the Japanese-funded Africa Adaptation Programme, will deliver a $4million programme that supports Malawi’s National Programme for Managing Climate Change.  LTS are also supporting planning by the Environmental Protection Agency in Ethiopia for national adaptation action planning. This $5million from the Least Developed Countries Fund, will be used to support priority actions from Ethiopia’s NAPA.  These assignments will be completed during November and December 2009.
